Gifts are often given which helps make the day more exciting, while there’s also Christmas dinner and plenty of other treats to enjoy.

However, while many people look forward to Christmas, there are many others for whom Christmas is not such a magical time. For example, many people will be alone this Christmas. And not only will they not be looking forward to giving and receiving gifts, but many will also not get to experience eating a delicious Christmas meal in good company.

And Christmas 2022 has been harder than usual for many people. This is thanks largely to soaring inflation, high energy bills, and other factors that have made the year financially tougher than usual. Indeed, this year, Christmas could not have come at a worse time for millions who are already struggling to make ends meet.

Van Vynck Professional Bird and Pest Control wanted to do our part to help make Christmas that little bit special for some people. As such, we answered a Christmas appeal from one of our clients, Morgan Sindall Property Services, to help support people in need at this time of year. The appeal included providing Christmas dinner for 40 people which not only provided a nutritious meal but also helped combat loneliness.

While we are delighted to have helped make Christmas one to remember for some people, it’s important to remember that millions continue to struggle on a daily basis. As such, it’s important that we all do what we can to help from time to time.
