Van Vynck are working alongside Segro on the old Nestle estate in Hayes. Segro are based in the UK. They are a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) but are also a leading owner, asset manager and developer of modern warehousing and light industrial property. They are one of London’s most respected and experienced developers of an urban community and employment spaces.
The Nestle factory, built in 1913, has stood the test of time,producing and manufacturing chocolate on the Hayes site for over 100 years. But in December 2014, plans were made to move their production factory to Derbyshire. This created an opportunity for a new and exciting urban development to be built in its place.
This is an exciting innovation for the Hayes area in which we have the pleasure of being involved and seeing the redevelopment of the site.
The client contacted us regarding a problem with urban roosting pigeons. Considering the constant changes on site we recommended the versatility, safe and environmentally friendly features of a hawking programme . Our technicians with their hawks regularly patrol the site and have proved to be an excellent solution to the problem.
