GBN Services a skip hire, recycling and waste company, serving London and the South East have been struggling with nuisance gulls at their depot. The company, established in 1986, have appointed the Van Vynck’s Bird Control team to carry out a short and intensive programme to disrupt the behavioural patterns of the gulls and move them on elsewhere.
GBN Services initially started out in the 1980s as a haulage operator, from a base in Leyton and operating across the UK. Spotting an opportunity in the mid-1990s the company diversified to offer skip hire, recycling and waste services. The move paid off and in 2001, to accommodate on-going growth the company acquired an additional depot in Basildon, Essex. Things didn’t stop there, starting in 2005 the company has been on somewhat of a spending spree, fueling further expansion and growth with the acquisition of similar businesses.
